The Magic Well
- Contd…
That night, Warry snuck out of his home with a shiny gold coin. He crept to the well and dropped the coin in.
Suddenly, a glowing genie rose from the well and spoke firmly,
“You are not pure of heart. This well grants wishes only to those with good intentions. The next chance belongs to Fluffy alone.”
The next morning, Fluffy returned to the well with a silver coin. She gently dropped it in, and the same genie appeared, this time with a warm smile.
“Because of your kind and selfless heart,” the genie said, “You may make two wishes, one for you, and one on behalf of your friend”
Fluffy thought for a moment, with help of Sandy, then said, “I wish for a thousand gold coins so I can help people in need.
And I wish for a world where everyone loves and cares for each other.”
The genie granted both wishes. Fluffy used the gold to help the poor and spread love throughout the forest. She even helped Warry Wolf turn his life around, and in time, they became best friends.
One day, Fluffy asked, “Should I give the next chance to someone else?”
Warry nodded and said, “There are others more deserving than me. Did you see that Bulbul bird? She’s been searching for her lost babies all night. I think she’s the right one.” Fluffy smiled, found the Bulbul bird, and passed the magical gift on to her.
Then she turned to the genie, waved goodbye, and whispered, “Thank you.”
And so, the magic of the well continued, passed from one kind soul to another, lighting up the forest with hope, kindness, and love.
