    The Magic Well

Fluffy chatted with Sandy for a long time.

In fact, they talked for so long, that midnight passed. Fluffy got rest and walked to a village she had seen, specifically to look at the well, which seemed strange and old. Sandy joined her, to see what was about the well. While wandering through the village, Fluffy found the old, mysterious well. Next to it sat a tiredlooking dog.

The well seemed stranger than it already seemed to be—it looked dry, as if it hadn’t held water in years. Out of kindness, Fluffy shared some dates with the dog. Gratefully, the dog introduced himself.

“My name is Loona,” he said.

“This is no ordinary well—it’s a magical one.” Fluffy was surprised and a little sceptical.

“A magic well? How is it magical?” she asked.

Sandy too seemed confused.

Out of kindness, Fluffy shared some dates with the dog. Gratefully, the dog introduced himself.

Loona explained, “If you drop a coin into this well, your deepest wish will come true.

But there’s a rule—you can make only one wish in your entire life. And you may only share this gift with someone truly worthy.

You seem like a genuine soul, Fluffy.”

Just as Fluffy was about to ask more questions, Loona suddenly stood up and began to leave.

“Why are you in such a hurry?” Fluffy called after him.

“I’ve been searching the forest for my parents,” Loona replied.

“This magic well revealed where to find them. I must go now—the mountains are calling me.”

Before Fluffy could ask who had given the well its powers, Loona disappeared into the distance, heading toward the mountains.

What Fluffy didn’t know was that her old rival, Warry Wolf, had been hiding nearby, secretly listening to the entire conversation.A greedy thought crossed his mind: “If I drop a coin into that well, I’ll wish to be rich and never have to work for King Lion again.”
