Fluffy smiled gently.

“In leading, you are not to build a chain,” he continued. “You became leaders because another leader stepped aside—or because it was time for you to lead. Life moves forward, and leadership must move with it.”

The Alpha Reindeer looked pensive. “Do you think another person might come?”

“Yes,” answered Fluffy. “If you leave with trust, another will step forward with courage. True leadership isn’t holding on forever—it’s knowing when to let go.”

“Yes,” answered Fluffy. “If you leave with trust, another will step forward with courage. True leadership isn’t holding on forever—it’s knowing when to let go.”

“I thank you,”

He said, “for trusting me all these years. It is time, however, for another to guide you.”

And so, he turned to Fluffy and his friends, bowed deeply, and said, “Thank you for reminding me that happiness matters too.”

With the rising sun, the ex-Alpha Reindeer embarked on his solitary yet tranquil path into the forest—as not a leader but a wandering soul.

Fluffy watched as he disappeared into the trees and whispered, “The best attribute of a leader is not their ego and what they want, but what is best for those that follow.”

And so, the travelers moved forward on their path with yet another tale of bravery, harmony, and the subtle strength of release.
