The Adventurous Rabbit Fluffy and Friends [No.3]

  • Chapter-3
    The Trek in the Forest

After Fluffy and Sandy checked around the village and helped the Bulbul bird, they continued their journey onward and soon found themselves in a thick, mysterious forest.

Suddenly, a large bear named Teddy appeared and growled, “What are you doing here in our jungle, scavengers?”

He looked ready to fight—until his little brother, Teddy Jr., came running up.

“Hi, big brother!” said Junior cheerfully.

“Who are those little animals? They look so cute! Can they be our friends?” But Teddy shook his head firmly.

“No, they’re not our friends. They might be enemies trying to hurt us—or worse—steal the treasure of the forest.” Junior looked puzzled. “But how could they steal our magical tree? They’re so tiny!” Teddy frowned.

“No, Junior. Did you notice? They have very sharp teeth and even spikes. We can’t take any chances.

We’re the custodians of this forest’s treasure. All living beings here trust us to protect them.”

Just then, Fluffy stepped forward and said politely, “Wait a second—what are you talking about? We’re just travellers. We were in the desert for many days and came here only to cool down and regain our energy before continuing our journey.”

Teddy raised an eyebrow. “How can we believe you? We’ve never seen you around here before, and you have no reason to be in this forest.”

Sandy chimed in with a peaceful smile.

“We’re travellers, and we never carry heavy bags. But I can offer you something special—sweet dates we gathered near the pyramid.’’

“You know, those dates grow only there. You won’t find anything like them anywhere else.”

Curious, Teddy and Junior tasted the dates. Their eyes widened with delight.

The flavour was unlike anything they had ever tasted—mouthwatering and magical.

Fluffy took the chance to ask, “You mentioned a treasure earlier. May we see it?”
