*Los Angeles:* Famous singer Jelly Roll turned the stage of the Grammy Awards—the biggest award ceremony in the music world—into a moment of faith by sharing how Jesus Christ changed his life.

While receiving recognition at the ceremony attended by leading figures from the music industry, Jelly Roll gave a powerful testimony about his past struggles and the role faith played in transforming his life.

Holding up a small Bible in his hand, the singer said that without Jesus he might already have been dead, in prison, or even have taken his own life. He explained that there was a time when he lived in a small room where the only things he had were a Bible of that size and a radio. According to him, the Word of God and music helped bring him back to life and gave him hope.

Jelly Roll also reminded the audience that Jesus belongs to everyone. “Jesus is for everybody,” he said. “He doesn’t belong to any political party or any music label.” He added that anyone can have a direct relationship with God.

The singer won three awards at the ceremony. His album *Beautifully Broken* received the award for Best Contemporary Country Album. His song *Hard Fought Hallelujah, created with Brandon Lake, won in the Contemporary Christian Music category. Another song, **Amen*, recorded with Shaboozey, won in the Best Group Performance category.

Through his words and music, Jelly Roll used the global stage to share a message of faith, hope, and transformation.
