I am writing this to mention a little bit about the article by Dr. Mary Vidya Proselvi on St. Ignatius of Loyola and Constantine Joseph Beschi an Italian Jesuit Missionary. This article brings forward the missionary efforts done by the missionaries of different places. They not only propagate the catholic faith but practically they become part and parcel of the native realities. They have constructively contributed to the language, culture and way of life of the society. The article gives insights how to deal with the youngsters and the way of an integrative leadership pattern. It is good also to expose people like Constantine Joseph Beschi who served the Church and the local communities, so that they may give an awareness and also impetus to value and respect their contributions in language, culture and literature.
