The Revelation to John was written at a time when Christians were
being persecuted because of their faith in Jesus Christ.
These visions were symbolic and mysterious at the same time.
The faithful will share in the final triumph of Christ.
John says things are bad and
they will get worse, but Christ will triumph.
In his letters John wrote, “Dear children, God is love.
See how wonderful is His love to us,
for we are called the children of God.
Dear ones, lets love one another because
love comes from God. Nobody has ever seen Him.”
