“Today, the world is dying as a result of nationalism; it is drowning in the blood due to “nationalist thinking.” The church should condemn nationalism as a heresy… Nationalism is a form of paganism within Christianity, encouraging the instincts of blood and race. Christians who are faithful to Christ and the Gospel (many are not) have no right to “nationalist thinking.” To be in accordance with the morality of the Gospel, or simply human morality, they must be “universally minded.”
