Q: What have to say at this hour of crisis of Corona virus?
A: “We shudder at the hearing the word Corona Virus. This invisible virus has caused a sudden break on our human history. We are locked down. It also highlights the concern we have for each other, the capacity to die for the “other” and the willingness to live with minimum. Are we not led to new insights and a different style of living? Is it not dangerous to exploit the resources of the earth in a most cruel way? has not the time arrived to fall in love our common home; should we not start to distribute the resources of the earth in a more loving way; shall we not put an end to armament race and worry about the hunger in the world; do we really need such strong borders for every country; when are we going to end to discriminate people in the name of religion or creed? We are learning that we need only pretty little to live; can be happy with minimum travels; can pray everywhere; safer world compared to an “efficient world.” When everything is said and done, it tells each Christian to take New Testament highly seriously. New heavens and New earth” is reality which is in waiting.”
