Q: We are facing scandals after scandals; what would you tell the agonized ordinary faithful?
A: God is correcting the Church. He is purifying the Church. When the Israelites failed, they had to go to Babylon and then get corrected. God later brought them back. We will also have to correct our ways. The more churchy, the more clerical and the more disoriented we are, the more we need purification as the people of God. We should be God oriented, not agents of power or principalities.
