Back then in Italy 🇮🇹, a kid called Joseph came into the world on June 17, 1603. Since he was little, things weren’t quite like others – learning took time, his mind wandered often 😶✨, folks laughed at him using the nickname “Bocca Aperta” (“gaping fool”). Even his mom feared life would pass him by.😔
Yet Joseph carried a rare strength – a soul deeply drawn to God. ❤️🙏
At 17, he gave the Franciscan Friars a shot – got turned down since his grades weren’t strong 🚫📚. Even so, he kept going anyway. By age 20, he landed at a different Franciscan spot, working as a handy helper – mopping floors, tidying up, handling little tasks 🧹🪣 – all done with a smile.
The monks quickly spotted it – Joseph had no brilliance, yet he stayed quiet, gentle, deeply devoted, also trusted without doubt. In time, his leaders said yes when he asked to serve as priest. ✝️
Then things got wild 🤯✨ – every time Joseph heard Jesus or Mother Mary mentioned, or while singing hymns, even during Mass, he’d actually rise off the ground! 🙌🕊️
People freaked out – yet he stepped back only after a nudge about following rules. 😂
Some folks were confused by the miracles, yet they grumbled anyway; still, once looked into, church leaders saw Joe was blameless – more than that, truly devout.
Later on, Joseph fell ill. Still, peace stayed with him, gratitude too. Just before passing – September 18, 1663 – he whispered, “The donkey’s going up the hill,” hinting his time had come. ✝️
He got named a saint back in 1767 – now he’s known as the go-to guy for students facing exams. 📚✨
His story proves something real – divine power can raise up anybody, especially those everyone else mocks. 💪✨
