Peter stood up among the other apostles and began to preach to the crowd.
He told them that how Jesus of Nazareth had come and how God had
approved of Jesus by the signs and miracles that he had performed while
he was on earth. Moved by the speech the crowd asked,
“What shall we do?” Peter told, “Repent, be truly sorry for what you have done to Jesus.
Get baptized in the name of Jesus that your sins might be forgiven.”
He said that if they do this,
they would receive God’s gift, the Holy Spirit!!!
Those who heard his words and
accepted them were baptized.
About three thousand people were baptized
the same day.
