Jesus spent forty days with His beloved disciples
after his resurrection.
He told them, “My dear friends, you will be
filled with the Holy Spirit and receive the power of God.
You will tell my story to the people in Jerusalem and
to people all over the earth.”
He blessed them and just as they were watching,
a beam of bright light shone around Jesus and
He was taken into the heavens.
