“Faith is not a quest-ion of the existence or non-existence of God. It is believing that love without reward is valuable. It is often said ‘God is love’. God is the commandment of love. ‘God is love’ means that He loves you. But this implies that the primary thing is your own salvation. In my opinion, God is a commandment to love. God is the one who says that one must love the other.”
E. Levinas
